EmLite EMP1 Three Phase Direct Connected Solar PV Meter
Product Details

JSG Metering stocks a large range of single phase & three phase meters, these meters support import export generation meaning they can be used on any solar PV system for measuring energy sent back to the grid.
If you generate renewable electricity in your home or business, you can feed back into the grid any electricity that you don't use. Under the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) you will be paid for every unit of electricity that you feed back. You won't be paid for any that you use yourself.

You're likely most familiar with PV, which is utilized in solar panels. When the sun shines onto a solar panel, energy from the sunlight is absorbed by the PV cells in the panel. This energy creates electrical charges that move in response to an internal electrical field in the cell, causing electricity to flow.
Excess solar generated energy can be used in different ways, if you have an energy storage system you can store this excess electric to use at a high peak moment. Alternatively you can sell excess energy back to the national grid, you can be remunerated anywhere from £0.06p to £0.09p per kWh depending on who your energy provider is.
The EmLite EMP1 three phase meter stands out for its high accuracy making it suitable for direct connected domestic, commercial, Solar PV and light industrial applications. It provides precise measurement of active energy (kWh) with registers displayed on a large, easy-to-read LCD screen.
The EMP1 also comes as an optional pulse output that can provide data for collection by an energy management system or AMR data logger.
This meter is widely used across various three-phase applications, with one of its most popular uses being for Solar PV installations, often for MCS sign-off.
It also features an optical port for electronic meter reading and configuration, it ensures convenient operation.
